Specially designed for machining nickel based superalloys.
Secomax CBN170 is the first ever PCBN grade specifically designed for
machining nickel based superalloys.
Aimed to satisfy the exacting surface finish, tolerances and length of cut requirements in a finishing operation on nickel based superalloys components; Secomax CBN170 incorporates a unique whisker ceramic binder which enhances tool life and reduces insert indexes.
UNRIVALLED TOOL LIFE
The combination of PCBN with whisker ceramic binder technology and a dedicated superalloy cutting edge condition result in unrivalled tool life allowing you to reduce the number of machine stoppages to change cutting edges. The result is a cost effective, ease of use cutting tool, which does not compromise on component surface quality.
