There is increasing consumption of non-renewable raw material. Seco, as an environmentally conscious company recognising the need to conserve these limited resources, now offers a recycling service for used carbide inserts and solid carbide tools.
Seco is certified according to ISO 14001 and works according to those principles in all aspects of the recycling business.
In order to develop an efficient service for customers who want to recycle used carbide, we will start with our subsidiaries in the Nordic countries, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy.

What is recycled?
Used cemented carbide products (inserts, solid tools and wear parts), free from cermet, ceramics and solid PCD or solid PcBN.
We offer to accept used PCD/PcBN-tipped cemented carbide in the same container. Wear parts to be shipped in a separate container.
