One Tree Planed is an environmental charity that makes it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment. With tree planting programs, they support creating a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world.
The project started in 2014 and by now they work with awesome reforestations partners around all continents.
They restore forest after fires and flood, create jobs, build communities, and protect habitat for biodiversity.

SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS
Sustainability is not only about tackling climate change and trying to preserve the earth’s oceans and forests. It is also about improving health, ending poverty and reducing inequality. At Seco Tools, we take advantage of any opportunity to integrate these important aspects into our everyday lives.
RECYCLING
Our carbide products contain raw materials that are both rare and valuable, including tungsten. At the rate we are using tungsten today it is predicted that reserves will be consumed within 40 – 100 years. In an effort to prolong this, we will recycle any carbide product and compensate customers for returning their worn out tools.
GREEN FUND
Our Green Fund pays for projects that deliver increased energy efficiency world-wide and do not include other legal demands including safety or water treatment which are things we need to take care of regardless.
UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Seco Tools has selected 7 of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. Based on the most relevant for our business, these goals include responsible consumption and production, affordable and clean living and climate action.
THE FUTURE IS GREEN
Seco Tools has a Green Fund where money is anually dedicated to invest in energy savings or reducing carbon dioxide emissions. It has enabled us to install solar panels to power factories in the UK and India and soon in South Korea, France and Sweden.
We have built in energy-efficient windows at a reaming factory in France producing just under 30% in estimated savings while other initiatives include the replacement of numerous diesel cars and the introduction of hybrid vehicles.
In future, the aim is to give our customers green transport options for receiving deliveries such as rail instead of by air.
