Our Code of Conduct governs how we act as a responsible employer, business partner and member of the communities in which we operate, and is a natural part of how we work with our suppliers. At Seco, we believe that to be a sustainable business we must cooperate with our business partners. The Business Partner Code of Conduct applies to Seco distributors, resellers, sales agents, traders and other partners and joint ventures.
At Seco, we believe that in order to be a sustainable business we must build sustainable relationships with our suppliers. Together with our parent company Sandvik, we have developed a Supplier Code of Conduct that applies to our suppliers and service providers. The document reflects our commitment to sustainability and our work to identify, prevent, mitigate, and account for adverse environmental, human rights and governance impacts in our own operation and supply chain. The Supplier Code of Conduct is built on several international declarations on human rights, labor, corruption, and the environment. Seco is committed to these international principles, and we expect the same commitment from our suppliers. The document contains seven main chapters covering compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety, human and labor rights, responsible sourcing of minerals and metals, environment, and business ethics. The objective of the document is to lay a foundation for a sustainable future for Seco and the company’s stakeholders, who together must consider the economic, environmental, and social impact of operations on the world around us.
