Since the end of 2020, Seco's teams have been able to get their bearings in their new premises. Modern, connected and collaborative, they strengthen the cohesion between the production unit and the administrative services. Spacious and bright offices, with collaborative workspaces, equipped meeting rooms, an auditorium, and refined and friendly spaces for exchange and relaxation. These new premises make it possible to create a single entity: we are all Seco!
For many years, Seco has successfully bet on collaborative management, and this project for a new building called the Patio is the complete culmination and realization of this. It allows us to offer an exceptional customer experience in a place where it is good to work.
These reflections are not new, Seco has had a sustainable approach for a long time. In 2017, the production plant had already been equipped with solar panels when the entire roof had to be redone. The new offices are heated and air-conditioned by geothermal energy, so Seco is self-sufficient in regulating the building's temperatures.
In addition, prior to these changes in premises, furniture and equipment, all employees for whom the functions lend themselves to it, are equipped with laptops and screens. This has also been a significant plus in terms of allowing as many people as possible to telework during this Covid period, but also to find a work-life balance more easily. Our Seco teams can thus work more serenely, get involved personally and for customers, which translates into continuity of production and services at Seco France.
With these new buildings, our guests and visitors are received even more warmly and professionally, with a slight Scandinavian spirit. They will be able to discover all of Seco's know-how, since Bourges is not only an administrative or production site, it is also a research and development centre in direct and permanent contact with our production unit. This allows us to help them meet their machining challenges with the advice of our experts and the opportunities offered by the on-site presence of our test center.
