This is laid out in our Sustainability Policy which set the framework to how we aim to make manufacturing fast easy and sustainable for our customers and drive sustainable action in our value chain. Our Policy is aligned with Sandvik Groups taking commitments set there and bringing them into Seco’s way of working and value chain.

Sandvik AB is Seco’s parent company and therefore already includes Seco in its consolidated sustainability reporting and Seco is part of Sandvik sustainability governance. The Sandvik Board of Directors holds primary responsibility for sustainability oversight within Sandvik and the Audit Committee monitors the sustainability reporting. Implementation is delegated to the President and CEO of Sandvik.
Current reporting scope at Sandvik Group level:
- Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive 2022/2464 (CSRD)
- EU Taxonomy regulation 2020/852
Additionally, Sandvik has chosen to report according to these voluntary frameworks:
- CDP
- UN Global Compact
- EcoVadis
- Global Reporting Initiative, GRI
Seco provides the required information for the above reporting frameworks to Sandvik Group. Information on Seco’s information reported in relation to the above reporting frameworks can be provided upon demand.

Seco shall actively contribute to create a toxic free environment. We shall strive to reduce our usage of chemicals necessary for development, manufacturing and distribution of metal cutting solutions to minimize impacts on health and safety.
All chemical handling shall be conducted in a manner that protects the environment and the health and safety of our employees.
